We have a very old GitLab 8.3.4 server. And we also have a new GitLab 14.x self-hosted server.
Is there a way to export projects (preserving MRs and other information) from 8.3.4 and import them to 14?
According to the web archive, export/import was introduced in 8.9. But it seems like it’s unreal to find all the necessary distributions and upgrade documentations to move 8.3.4 → 8.9. And it’s not clear whether GitLab 14 will even work with GitLab 8.9 export file.
