On gitlab.com, I am unable to login to any oauth2 applications including the gitlab forums, and my own applications. The /oauth/token endpoint is returning an error 401. 
Oh wow, it’s because of http vs https. Shame the gitlab docs are wrong, and forking the repo seems to be taking hours, so I can’t even fix it. Not impressed.

Both GitLab.com and GitLab.org works flawlessly with oauth2, so problem must be somewhere on your end
Did you not read my comment? I. Not talking about my code not working with gitlab, I am talking about an error in the docs, poor error messages from gitlab when you miss an s off the protocol, and forking the docs repo not even working on gitlab.com.
