Push automatically gitlab project in your website

I want push automatically my code in gitlab project to my website host on 000webhost and byehost*

I am very new and know just little git so I follow this tutoriel :https://dev.to/costalfy/utilisez-gitlab-com-pour-deployer-automatiquement-votre-site-web-hugo-37k5 but it’s for hugo website and I don’t know what is .gitlab-ci.yml

Do you know a good tutorial just for that because I am not developper and I have just few time for do that in addition to my work (I am biologist) ? Or may be you know simple thing to do for link gitlab project to my website ?

*I use GitLab.com

  • Add the CI configuration from .gitlab-ci.yml and other configuration if relevant (e.g. docker-compose.yml) ==> I don’t know where I can find this
