A company I work for is wanting to export all of our GitLab issues. I want to make sure what I am planning on doing will work. They want to keep our free edition running if possible, they literally just want a one time export. We run off of AWS.
I was going to clone the image, make an AMI, run a new instance off the AMI, upgrade the GitLab to bronze for that server, export the files, then cancel after that month so they can continue to use the normal EE. I did not really delve into why they just want the one time export. Is there a better way to do this?
