What is GitLab's definition of a "stale branch"?

What is GitLab’s definition of a “stale branch”? I found that GitHub defines it as a branch without a commit in the last 3 months. Is GitLab the same?

Did you ever figure out the answer to this?

I can’t find any info on this even after so long.

This issue: Breakdown branches by default, active and stale (#17293) · Issues · GitLab.org / GitLab FOSS · GitLab seems to mention that stale branches are considered stale after 3 months. I think it’s a default basic rule, irrespective of whether you use Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket. I could personally say stale is 12 months, it all depends on your own personal perspective. But it seems 3 months is considered the norm.

I found this with a really quick google: gitlab stale branch - Google Search
