:rocket: GitLab December 2023 Hackathon :rocket:

The Hackathon is a virtual event open to anyone interested in contributing code, documentation, translations, UX designs, and more to GitLab. Participating in GitLab’s Hackathon allows you to work on issues that matter to you and advance your skills/experience while joining a global, diverse, inclusive team of contributors and GitLab team members.

:date: December 11th to December 18th, 2023!

This Hackathon is your chance to:

  • :desktop_computer: Contribute to GitLab in various ways: coding, documentation, translations, UX designs, and more!
  • :speech_balloon: Collaborate and interact with our global team!
  • :briefcase: Learn, grow, and advance your skills

:trophy: Exciting Prizes Await! :trophy:

  • Prizes will be awarded to participants whose merge requests (MRs) get merged.
  • These MRs can contribute to any project in the gitlab-org and gitlab-com groups.

Thanks to all of the GitLab contributors who participated in this month’s Hackathon! We had 77 participants submit 171 merge requests. :tada:

We’ll share news of our next hackathon as soon as the details are finalized.
