Our gitlab registry is huge (2TB) and backups of the entire registry are failing. We run a self-managed instance of GitLab on kubernetes. I know there are ways to run registry clean-up tasks to remove old tags, but is there a way to execute a backup of the latest image tag only? Or is the clean-up tasks the only real way to accomplish this?
