The ‘Project information’ gitlab shows for a repository include links to add a missing license, readme, CI/CD etc. The behaviour of those elements then changes once they exist. Is it possible to configure and extend this part?
Our organisation has a number of suggestions for projects to follow, some of which already overlap with the shown links, others could be deduced from the contents of the repository. What I’d like to do is aggregate this information into an additional, single item in this list. It would summarise the status w.r.t. to our suggestions and link to an overview and explanation of those.
Let me try to extend or rephrase my question:
github has a tab on ‘Community Standards’ with their insights for each project. That is pretty close to what I’m looking for except for 2 things. I’d like the summary (“x out of y”) with the project information. More importantly, I’d like to define the standard for our organisation myself, linking to our outline of the standards for more information. The goal would be to let projects know what our organisation’s standards are and to what degree they follow those in an easy, accessible way.
The cherry on top would be statistics for the complete gitlab instance on how many projects follow which part of the standard.
