I recently attempted to upgrade my docker container to the latest Gitlab version, using the documented upgrade instructions. This upgrade failed due to a rake error, and I was left with a container in a infinite-restart loop. I think the first step in diagnosing my problem should be to restore to a working state. I did perform a backup of my data before starting the upgrade process…
Unfortunately it seems that the docker container was running using the ‘latest’ container tag, which was for a docker image that was created 9 months ago…and doesn’t seem to be properly tagged. Is there any way to launch a docker container running gitlab 8.2.2 so I can restore my backup?
