Hi Maurizio,

Can you please explain your use case in more detail?

Do you mean e-mail of your account? Or you mean e-mail that shows on the commit message? Show us the current status, and what would you like it to be.

Hi Paula,

I have as surprise (no more in mind) 2 GitHub accounts A & B.

I decided to convert those account on for professional and the other for personal usage.

For this goal I unassigned my personal email from account A to move it to B.

The personal email is unset from account A but when I try to add to account B the email is still in use.

This is my actual topic concert.

Thanks

Maurizio

Are we speaking of GitHub or GitLab? Two different platforms. This is a GitLab Community, so if you’re managing accounts on GitHub, this wouldn’t be a place for questions about it.

If you made a typo, and mean GitLab: you need to make sure that your primary email is set correctly on account A. Only then you can use it as primary email on account B.

GitLab, sorry… always mix both!

I again verified, account A in no more containing my private email. :frowning:

I was thinking that was email replication problem but after some days, same effect.
