Encrypt GIT Repositories?

Hi, I am planning to run GITLab with Docker on my Synology NAS:

However, I would like to encrypt the GIT repositories in case my NAS gets stolen.

Is there any tutorial on how to set it up?

I think people have similar questions:

But those are not for GITLab on a NAS. There are quite a few articles online about how to encrypt GIT repositories in GITLab on regular machine. But I haven’t seen any for GITLab on NAS.

Any pointer is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi there, did you find a solution? We just encrypted the whole gitlab shared folder with the diskstation encryption. That works. The container won’t star until you decrypt the shared folder.
