Hi,
We have recently moved to jira cloud. We have followed the guides and setup the plugin ‘gitlab for jira’. Now we are experiencing the subscription fail to load error. The error in the logs
‘{“method”:“GET”,“path”:“/-/jira_connect/subscriptions.json”,“format”:“json”,“controller”:“JiraConnect::SubscriptionsController”,“action”:“index”,“status”:403’
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Asra

HTTP 403 sounds like a permission issue. Could also be a bug, though. I did not find related issues in this search https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/?sort=updated_desc&state=all&label_name%5B%5D=Jira%3A%3AGitLab%20for%20Jira%20Cloud%20app&first_page_size=20 but maybe it helps to look further, or create an issue to investigate.
Hi dnsmichi,
Thanks for your response. Appreciated.
We have figured out the problem and its resolved now. Just to understand it in depth. Can you please explain how thw plugin is working as i see gitlab.com is involved in the integration even though using selft managed server.
But After investigating the browsers logs we have not seen such as any requests made to gitlab other than subscriptions.
Can you please explain the working of this plugin.
Thanks
Asra
