GitLab Storage limitation

We need to ask about the Storage limitation for the repositories , as we checked here https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/usage_quotas.html#excess-storage-usage

The limitation is 10 GB and we will need to parches for any extra storage.

Is that available for FREE edition of GitLab as well ?

Seems it is available for free on Gitlab SaaS: GitLab SaaS subscription | GitLab

I just went into my profile, and then at the bottom selected usage quota and clicked the storage tab. There is a purchase more storage button. I haven’t tried it, but you can try and see if it works. If you want to purchase the extra space for the group, then you need to go to a different place to buy it under the group settings. It’s all on the link I provided above.

Alternatively, if you run your own Gitlab CE installation on your own server, then you have as much space as your server provides.

Thanks for your answer @iwalker, appreciated.

Yes we run our own self-managed Gitlab EE (FREE) installation on our server.

SO, to make sure in this case, we have as much space as our server provides, right ?

Thank you so much again

Yes, I have my own Gitlab CE and the space is not restricted at the repo level, so it all depends on the size of your disk/partition.
