GitLab Tasks | Importing And/Or changing Issue to Task

Problem to solve

We are currently trying out premium and are trying to figure out a way to easily import 1,000’s of tasks. These tasks would be child objects of issues.

1. Is there a way to demote an issue to a task or change its type to task?
2. Is there a way to bulk import tasks like you can with issues?
