How do we make our docs look like the Gitlab Handbook?

Gitllab’s handbook is AWESOME

Our remote team is blown away. We want to build a similarly document-driven asynchronous organization and culture.

To do this, we want to use the same features that Gitlab the company used.

Features we need from the handbook, that aren’t in the wiki

  • index pages for each folder in the directory structure
  • sidebars / side menus specific to each file or directory
  • generally pretty!

From the readme for the website, it says we can use docker to render the website locally.

I want to render the website for everyone in my company, but I don’t want to run servers.
Is there any way to do this with gitlab.com?
