How do I report an apparent violation of GitLab’s Terms, Section 3 Acceptable Use of Your Account and the Website, subsection Infringing upon others’ intellectual property rights?
I’ve spent awhile looking for how to report this, and the path forward is not clear. Can someone please advise? Thank you in advance.
It also appears that the GitLab Abuse reports page is out of date as the “report abuse” buttons that are supposed to be on issues, and in user profiles, are not there (anymore).
You should be able to follow the DMCA process for any takedown requests of copyrighted material.
Is there any way to search across all public gitlab repositories for any potential trademark, patent, or copyright infringement?
In the recent news about Twitter source code being leaked, it was alleged to have been publicly available for months. If our company had any source code leaked and it was shared on GitLab, how could we find it and initiate DMCA quickly enough to minimize damage, exposure, and risk?
