I got HTTP 404 on some images in the gitlab-ce web panel.

OS: Ubuntu Desktop 18.04.3 LTS

I too am seeing this issue.
I am running Ubuntu Server 18.04.3 LTS
Only seem to be seeing this on the main page so far.

My server is Ubuntu Server 16.04.6 LTS.

I have also got this issue. Fresh install today on an AWS EC2 instance using Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS.

One thing to note is that I had to run the install using sudo. Not sure if that would have made any difference.
