Import (mirror) from public HTTPS repo into gitlab.com is failing

I have several repos at Gitlab.com mirroring a few public repos from a self-hosted Gitlab. The mirroring worked fine until a few days ago. Now all the mirror imports hang indefinitely and are broken.

Is it a known issue?
