Issue not mentionned in merge request

In gitlab.com we created an issue, then a branch and a merge request.
The issue activity says that the issue has been mentionned in the merge Request with it’s id and a link to the merge request. (see screenshot)

But once on the Merge Request screen I can’t see link back to the issue.
I have some mentions about the branch for instance, but no link to the issue.

Am I missing something ?
Is this a bug ?
How am I supposed from a given MR to go back to the originating issue ?

I have the same question. I’m looking at a merge request that was already merged, and surprisingly I can’t find any link to the issue. The best I can do is find the issue number at the beginning of the branch name, then go look for the issue based on its number. Wouldn’t it be more convenient if a link from the merge request to the issue were automatically created? Or does it exist but I’m just not seeing it?
