Hi there,
I created a GitLab account (gitlab.com) a long time ago (maybe more than 5 years) under my personal email. Since it’s been that much time, I do not remember my password, so I proceeded to click in the “Forgot your password?” link. Once I submitted the form, I did not receive an email to reset my password. I am sure I have an account, but even that I did the following:
- Tried to login with Google. It didn’t work, I receive a 422 message saying that I am not allowed to login since email is being used already.
- Tried to login with GitHub. It didn’t work, I receive a 422 message saying that I am not allowed to login since email is being used already.
- Tried login with Twitter. It worked, but I had to fill in my email and it didn’t let me do so because the email is already taken.
- Tried to register again with the Registration form. It didn’t work, it said that my email was already taken.
I would like to get access back to my account, not because of the history and the projects I have in there, but to use GitLab in a new project I am about to start.
How should I proceed with this?
Thanks in advance,
Xavi M.
