When a user requests access to a Group, that access request is buried unless someone is specifically looking for it. It’s a minor annoyance, but the fix is straightforward. Sending an email to all current group members, or at least the group owners, when access is requested would completely remove the frustration of someone sending a request, and being forgotten for several days.
