I am an instructor at an online college. We have a course that requires students to use Visual Studio Code to build a website and then push the files to a GitLab account. Some students who are Mac users state they are having a problem connecting VSCode to their GitLab accounts. Our Windows users are using the same set of step-by-step setup directions but are not experiencing a problem. Does Mac have a security setting that prevents Oauth from authenticating GitLab to VSCode by default (connecting with HTTPS option on GitLab)? I haven’t yet found such a setting. Could there be other causes? Is there documentation that explains this? Thanks.
