Purchased runner minutes not credited and money is gone

What happend:
I have bought runner minutes for 100 USD about 35 hours ago. My credit card was successfully charged and I received an e-mail with the invoice. However, the runner minutes neither appear in the designated namespace, nor in my account. Yesterday I wrote to the accounting support and got an e-mail which told me that I would get a reply within 24 hours - which I did not get by now (28 hours later). By now the compute minutes of my team have run out, so we are left with no CI and no response from GitLab.

Current situation:

  • My entire team is hindert in working effectively (no common testing bases no automatic deployment).
  • I have no idea how I should buy compute minutes and actually get them.
  • GitLab just took 100 USD without shipping the promised product and then played dead. I have not read the terms of service, but I do not think that is in it or would be legal if it were.

My wishes:

  • Respond to e-mails of paing customers.
  • Give me the runner minutes I have paid for.
  • Tell me how to avoid this in the future or fix the underlying software bug.

Please make sure you purchased everything through the official gitlab. It sounds more like you were scammed by a lookalike third party.
