What are the Slack integration trigger text boxes for?

Today I successfully set up a Slack integration for GitLab in one of my projects. I used the checkboxes to turn on/off the Triggers, but beneath each Trigger is also a text box with some hint text that says, “#general, #development”.

What are these text boxes for?

They are channels that you create within Slack. If you open your Slack app you should see all the channels you have because the begin with the hash symbol #

Thanks. I guess the thing about this that confuses me is that when I set up the Slack integration for my project, I created an incoming Slack webhook that targeted a single Slack channel. Since that’s been done, I’m confused now as to what these additional textboxes are for, regarding other/additional Slack channels. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
