I have an image in the container registry that is several years old. The status shows Published just now. The button to delete the image is greyed so I cannot select the image to delete.
I have tried turning off the container registry and waiting several days but when I turn it back on the image is still there.
I have also tried deleting the container registry and waiting several days (the UI shows “This image repository will be deleted” but when I check back after several hours the registry is as before.
My ultimate goal is simply to rename the repository, but the operation fails with a message Cannot rename project because it contains container registry tags!
