Can't migrate from github

Problem to solve

Hello
I would like to migrate a Github repository to gitlab. However, I do not see the button for Github as in the tutorial here and the tutorial video here (see screenshot). Is there any other way to perform a migration?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://gitlab.com/
  2. Click on button top right “New project”
  3. Choose “Import project”
  4. Here I can’t see a button like “Github”

Versions

Please select whether options apply, and add the version information.

Github import service is currently down according to Gitlab status page. An issue has been posted by @mmix (Direct Transfer status, dead for too long (#469228) · Issues · GitLab.org / GitLab · GitLab) but it seems nobody at Gitlab actually takes a look at it. For now we cannot do anything, I guess. It’s absurd that not just Github import but bulk import, Gitea and Bitbucket Server import have been down for more than a month but what else you can expect from a fremium product

Hi @jack97, thanks for your answer and hints. I hope this bug will fix soon.

I’ll get back to you when it works.

Now it’s working!
