Hello all,
I am trying to change my Gitlab username. However, when I put the new username, it says it is taken. On the other hand, if I go to https://gitlab.com/newusername it says it does not exist.
How could I contact Gitlab admins to allow me to take that username?

Hey @dejavits, the username you’re trying to take has likely already been taken by a namespace that is private, so you’ll receive a 404 when trying to view it. You can attempt to claim that namespace as your own if we find out that it is dormant. To do so, please submit a support ticket and we’ll look into it for you.
