My question is also very similar to this. I want transfer my website from wordpress to Gitlab and want to design it from start. Can someone please guide me how I can develop my website with Gitlab. A Step by Step guide can help me better. Also, I am a beginner and don’t know much about coding so if there is any prepaid template for websites it will be more helpful.
@AmeliaBelli As Gitlab Pages only works with static websites for example HTML5/CSS/JS or using SSG’s like Gatsby, but you still need to code it.
If you don’t know much about coding and prefer to just create it graphically like in Wordpress, Joomla, it is easier for you to stick with Wordpress or Joomla. Otherwise, you need to learn to code in HTML/CSS/JS - there are plenty of courses on Udemy that can help you with that.
