I was going through the upgradation process of gitlab 8.6.6 to gitlab 8.17.4 omnibus and after installing the gitlab 8.17.4, I have done “sudo gitlab-ctl reconfigure” but it shows the interface of previous version only Gitlab 8.6.6 and when I do “apt-cache policy gitlab-ce | grep Installed” it show the version 8.17.4.
Please can anyone help me out in this.
Sounds pretty weird, did you try “sudo gitlab-ctl restart”?
Yes I have done that also but no positive results. Can you suggest what is the possible reason for this ?
Does database maintain the gitlab version because of which it is going back to previous version. Please help me with this
