I am a direct member and maintainer on a project for which someone else is the owner. That person basically disappeared six months ago, and I can no longer get in contact with him.
The person is a programmer who I had hired to do a project for me, and he set up the GitLab account and got the project configured. He is also a direct member and maintainer on the current account, as well as being the owner.
Nevertheless I am the “owner” of the project per se (the actual work, but not of the GitLab project), it’s an app I’m developing, and so I would prefer at this point to either remove him, or to somehow migrate the current project into a new account where I am the sole person.
I have no idea how to do the latter, which I suspect is my only option.
