Merge Request Approval + Free account on gitlab.com
- What are you seeing, and how does it differ from what you expect to see?
I’m using a free account on the SAS version of gitlab.com. According to the Merge request approval documentation the feature is available for starter/bronze account https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/merge_requests/merge_request_approvals.html.
I expected to be unauthorized to use the related API endpoints (approve/unapprove) neither being able to use the web UI to approve a merge request but the feature is available to me both in the API and UI.
- What version are you on (Hint:
/help) ? and are you using self-managed or gitlab.com?
I’m using gitlab.com.
I’d like to get clarifications about the limitations as a free plan user on the Approval system of Merge Request. I haven’t noticed any limitation for the moment during my usage. Does it means the feature is fully available for the free plan and the documentation is wrong by stating the feature only available for starter/bronze plan ?
