Migrating issues from GitHub to GitLab, then they disappear

Hi everyone,

I’d have loved to say hi to everyone with a smile. Unfortunately, I had quite a day!

I’m a bit desperate. I’ve needed to migrate one of my repositories from GitHub to GitLab this morning to quickly avoid downtime because they flagged my account without any reason after almost 5 years working in the same way over this repository. I’m still waiting for their answer after almost 24 hours, I don’t what to do if I’m honest.

Then I came here, I work the whole day migrating everything manually because the old repository is not accessible yet… and it seems that you are removing my issues now.

Let me give you some context, I have this API for a browser extension which uses one file hosted in the same repo to get its database. You can report broken pages, so the API will create an issue automatically after reporting it. Is there something wrong in the format of the issue? Doesn’t it seem that is a false positive detecting spam or something?

Can someone help me, please?

I think I found the issue. You blocked the user created when I use my personal token. Can you unblock it, please?

Nobody on the forum can unblock it since we are just Gitlab users/community members, you would have to open a support ticket with Gitlab since only Gitlab employees can unblock it - and since they only offer support to paid members, it’s probably just easier to delete the API bot account and create a new one.

I expect it was blocked because the account made too many API requests. There are API limits on Gitlab - GitLab.com settings | GitLab

Hi @iwalker,

Thanks for your answer, I’ve ended up migrating everything to my own self-hosted instance.
