Hi,
I am trying to setup repository mirroring to pull from a remote repository per the instructions here:
https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/repository/repository_mirroring.html
but I don’t see the option in any of my projects.
I have a free account.
Per the documentation, mirroring is available to Starter. Is that the same as free? I don’t see Starter as a billing option.
Thanks
Hi,
Anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks
Hi @pgonzalez-otf and welcome to the forum!
From what you are saying, you are trying to use the Repository Pulling feature:
https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/repository/repository_mirroring.html#pulling-from-a-remote-repository-starter
If you look at the “Repository Pulling” header in that document, it mentions that it is available for “Starter” (self-managed) and “Bronze” (on GitLab.com), which are paid tiers.
I understand that you are on GitLab.com using the Free tier, in which case, if you were to explore the next tier to offer this feature, it would be Bronze.
I hope this helps!
Hi @dplanella,
Thank you so much for the reply.
That clarifies it for me. I kept looking for a Starter billing option but could not find it in the billing page.
Thanks again.
