Sticky Failed pipeline on Merge Request

When a Merge request pipeline is triggered , and it failed . It just sticks to the Merge request and any new merge request is created is also referencing the failed pipeline. Is there a way to start a fresh pipeline for every Merge request

    I am seeing a failed pipeline on a project for every Merge request

  • Add the CI configuration from .gitlab-ci.yml and other configuration if relevant (e.g. docker-compose.yml)

  • What troubleshooting steps have you already taken? Can you link to any docs or other resources so we know where you have been?

Recreated a Merge request, Tried with new branches new MR. But nothing is working
