Template does not match what I see

I see a “Bug.md” file in .gitlab/issue_templates/ in my repository. It is the only file in the folder and it looks like a default one.

However, when I attempt to create an issue, the new issue questions and text does not look anything like what I find in “Bug.md”.

What am I missing? Are there “hidden” default templates?

You need to select the template from the drop-down menu:

You can set a default template if you are on a paid plan.
