The license key is invalid

Hey folks, I would like to check out the trial version and request a license.

I got an email with the license file and wanted to add it to my self-hosted GitLab instance
with version 18.5.1-ee.

However, I am getting the following error: The license key is invalid. Make sure it is exactly as you received it from GitLab Inc.

Any idea what could cause the problem?
