Problem to solve
My organization recently upgraded to GitLab Enterprise Edition [v16.3.7-ee] so now we do not have access to the legacy IDE. My team works heavily with .tf files but the toggle comment shortcut does not work in the new IDE. We are able to comment out seemingly any other file type, but .tf just doesn’t do anything.
Steps to reproduce
Create a .tf file, open it in the new VSCode style IDE, type a line, try to comment it out with [Ctrl+/].
Configuration
Provide screenshots from the GitLab UI showing relevant configuration, if applicable.
On self-managed instances, add the relevant configuration settings or changes.
Versions
Please select whether options apply, and add the version information.
