Unable to reset root password on Gitlab CE 15.5.1 Docker instance

Hi,
I have just upgraded my Gitlab-CE Docker instance to 15.5.1 from 15.4.0 and now i’m unable to login as root. I have tried many things to reset root password as mentioned here reset password
tried gitlab-ctl restart / reconfigure and even tried restarting container but it’s still throwing

Invalid login or password.

Is there anything else that i can try? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this problem still persists but are you sure that you did not reset your database?

Still, by resetting (or better: setting PW through rails console) you should be able to log in…
