I follow the instruction here properly, https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/blob/master/doc/update/7.14-to-8.0.md#5-install-gitlab-git-http-server
Once all finish, I can browse via https in my browser, I can download, commit or even upload files. BUT using git client or source tree, with https it always said that i cloned empty repo 
I have tried instruction steps 5 and 8 many times (like creating servers for 12 times or more), and no luck …
Let me know what files that I should edit or compare with my current gitlab.
