For whatever reason, I’ve been given the task of upgrading GitLab instead of our sysadmin. I use GitLab and am in charge of merge requests, etc and I can do Linux sysadim things. What kind of issues can I expect to run into when our version of GitLab is so old? Can I even do it at all?
Id advise you to make full backup first, then wipe your instance out, setup newest version and restore backup.
