I want to create my own templates, but the tab “templates” is missing.
I use the version 15.7.0-ee
When I am under admin > settings the item “Templates” is missing
I went according to these instructions:
Documentation for GitLab Community Edition, GitLab Enterprise Edition, Omnibus GitLab, and GitLab Runner.
says:
On the top bar, navigate to Main menu > Admin > Settings > Templates .
Expand Custom project templates .
Select a group to use.
Select Save changes .
Is it because I do not have a license?
And can I create my own templates without a license?

Hi,
No you can’t. It’s clear in the documentation next to the title in the document it says Premium Self-Managed which means you need at least Premium or Ultimate subscription.
