Delete file attached to issue

I have an open source project on gitlab.com where users file issues. A user filed an issue and attached a file with sensitive information and has asked me to remove it. I removed the reference by editing the issue description, but I expect the file still exists and anyone with the URL (such as people working at Gitlab or anyone who has made a copy of its URL) could still access the file.

Is there anything else I can do to protect this user’s privacy?

You can’t delete attached files if some of them were uploaded by mistake - It’s better to use the issue tracker for a feature request. Hope it’s helpful .
