I’ve found various discussions/tickets online about this issue. Sounds like there may have been an effort a few years back to create a configuration option to base4 embed the images in the email so that the email would be viewable with the image, for when the link to the external image is not publicly available. I can’t find this option however, and perhaps it was reverted? Does anyone know what I could do to get images to display in emails? We don’t want to make our gitlab instance public. We prefer the embedded image option.
