I’m using self-hosted Gitlab, version 10.5.2-ee, running on EC2 with all data stored on EBS volume.
Today I experienced extremely strange behavior - Gitlab became unresponsive during creation of daily backup, after instance rebooted, everything seemed fine, however all contents of git-data/repositories was gone.
Logs are missing for the part when instance was unresponsive(it just didn’t log anything), I only have backup logs but there’s nothing interesting (it just hanged on uploading backup file to S3).
Any ideas why that might’ve happen ?
