Approval rules error message showing for free (saas) account

Hello

We previously had a Gitlab.com (saas) premium account but have dropped back to free.

Every time we open a merge request, we get an error “An error occurred fetching the approval rules.”.

However, I don’t believe that free edition supports approval rules. I notice the dropdown for approval rules shows up but we have no way of editing it’s content or adding rules.

How on earth do we get rid of this stupid message?

Same error here, though we never had a premium account.

+1 Have not seen this mentioned. Just upgraded to version: 14.2.3
Locally hosted, Omnibus install - same message.

This was fixed for me after upgrading to 14.3.0.
