Error 500 after logging in or clicking on the GitLab logo (top left corner)

After logging in on GitLab.com I get redirected to gitlab.com/dashboard/groups. On this page I see the following 500-error:

500
We’re sorry. Something went wrong on our end.
Request ID: 01H0T9ZJB7JBHRKY7RS69298BR
Try refreshing the page, or going back and attempting the action again.
Please contact your GitLab administrator if this problem persists.

This happens in all browsers and I tried logging in multiple times.

It seems to be related to Groups. If I open a repository page (which I happened to have in my browser history) and click on the linked Group, it opens the Group page with an error on top of the page: “An error occurred. Please try again.”. This seems to happens for all my Groups. Also, the list of groups in the menu is empty.

I have the same issue at self-hosted instance, GitLAB v16.0.1. Anyone knows if that was reported to GitLAB, any issue tracking number?

I have the same issue in Gitlab 16.6 selfhosted. Have you found an issue tracking number for this?
Refreshing the page after this happens resolve the issue.
I also noticed that this only happen after the site has been dormant/not used for a while (more than 2 or 4 hours). It does not happen all the time.
