Gitlab Demo Cloud, Account blocked

Hi Everyone,

just now I wanted to login to the demo cloud to continue my training course and I get notified that “Your account has been blocked. Please contact your GitLab administrator if you think this is an error.” I get an according message when trying to access the repo using command line.

So I e-mailed “gitlablearn@gitlab.com” and recieved an auto reply that a ticket has been opened and furthermore: “We are currently unable to associate your email with an organization within the support portal. As such, we will need you to reply back with the information detailed at Proving your support entitlement. As you are currently unverified in our support portal, we will require the above information to proceed”

I am unsure on what to do, I clicked the link but obviously I am not a customer and therefore have no support entitlement. I have no idea what I could have done to get my training repo blocked. Did anyone have any similar problems or does anyone have an idea what to do?

Hello @jnh If your account is showing as “blocked” that means you have reached the 21 days each demo account is set for and your account has been deleted. If you still have certification or hands on exams to complete, you can create a new login by using the invitation code info on the first page of the Self-Study course or in Lesson 4.
