Let’s Talk Bugs

We rely on you, our community, to report bugs :bug: in our product when you see them. If you are unsure on how to report a bug, see here for the comprehensive guide on submitting feedback.

Reproducible Bugs

Bug reports should be submitted to the issue tracker of the relevant product.

Click here to access our GitLab Issue Tracker.

If you are unsure if what you are experiencing is reproducible, reach out to our community and ask a friend to help you reproduce what you need in order to confirm!

Bug Best Practices

:bug: Always search the Issue Tracker FIRST ! It’s likely someone caught this before you, or already reported something similar, and it will save time and effort. If you find an existing issue, show your support with an award emoji and/or join the discussion.

:bug: Use the Bug Issue Template ! This template is provided on the issue tracker linked above. You can copy-pasta, and then edit as you see fit.

:bug: Add the bug label to your issue ! (~bug)

This is your community so feel free to utilize this space for bug related content, tips, check-ins, etc! Including if you think of something to improve our process around bugs.

We really appreciate you taking the time to make GitLab even better.
