Previously I used the Google link to login. Now that spins for a while before returning a 500 error. I tried resetting the password for my Google email but even when I use the new password I either get an invalid password message or a 404 after login. I am also unable to push or pull as it says my account is blocked. My company pays a hefty cost for GitLab Premium on-prem so I have been using the online community edition for my personal work but now I’m wondering if that was a good idea and if I should switch to GitHub. Any advice you can provide would be appreciated.

Please check this issue that required some users to re-confirm their email address as the result of which was resolved in a recent release, and it sounds like you’ve likely been affected by that.
It’s also possible that you’re not receiving the new confirmation email due to a suppression on your email address in our system.
