Hi, we are planning to upgrade ASAP our company’s Gitlab from 15 to 16.
We use the OMNIBUS packaging inside a Docker container.
We would know in your experience if some issue or breaking change occured for you doing the same.

No issues upgrading if you follow the supported upgrade path and deprecations.

Thank you very much @balonik , I read carefully your post.
Apparently only the Gitaly deprecation seems to be relevant to my installation.
I did not customize any gitaly settings, leaving it at its defaults.
Could you confirm that the upgrade will be not affected by the above deprecation?

Just make sure to update to the latest patch. There have been some issues with special characters, and they were resolved in 16.0.2 → read more here
